Changelog

Every release of Moradok Lanna, newest first, grouped by month and day. Each line has the user-facing change and the technical gist. Jaan Editor releases carry the editor's own version number (v14 to v26); its first releases, the typing helper, are listed under 13 October. Security work is listed only as hardening, with details withheld on purpose.

2026-10-16

• Platform Dev notes (this section): developer write-up, three case studies and this changelog.
• Boards Boards stand out on the site: a "new" badge in the top bar, a homepage card, first place in the tools list, an English card; boards added to the sitemap and structured data.
• Jaan v26 · Help panel: a ❓ button opens a guide inside the editor (tabs for start, shortcuts, keyboard, colours, assistant); a bottom sheet on phones; one-time hint; help text kept in one structure. The keyboard chevron now matches the assistant chevron. Phone toolbar is back to one row. Typing suite grew from 72 to 86 cases.
• Jaan v25 · Assistant menu: the AI tools (convert to script, write in northern Thai, check spelling) moved into one "✨ ผู้ช่วย ▾ เบต้า" (assistant, beta) menu with a trial note and a feedback button. New convert icon.
• Jaan v24 · Keyboard button: clear ⌨ แป้น (keyboard) toggle with an up/down chevron; the Tilok mode icon is now the Lanna letter ka; on phones, switching to Tilok opens the keyboard.
• Jaan v23 · Docked keyboard: the on-screen keyboard is docked at the bottom like a tablet's; the page gets room beneath, and the caret line is kept above the keyboard after typing, Enter, paste, picks, resize and rotation. Drag handle to resize, compact mode, one keyboard per page.
• Boards Compact PIN pop-up for editing a protected board, and a clearer private-board card.
• Jaan v22 · On-screen Lanna keyboard: full-width staggered rows, Lanna letter large on each key, Thai/English labels, one-shot and locked Shift, Backspace/Enter/Space, combining marks on a dotted circle, phone bottom sheet. Fixed a bug where a clicked key at the end of a line was lost on save.
• Boards Board layout: actions moved to the top right with a ⋯ menu; a pinned bar keeps the toolbar visible while editing.
• Jaan v21 · Scroll fix: picking a dictionary word near the bottom of a long text no longer jumps the page to the top (all focus calls are now no-scroll; the caret is scrolled into view explicitly).
• Jaan v20 · Shortcut: Shift+Alt+L toggles the dictionary mode and back to the previous mode.
• Jaan v19 · Edit letter by letter: a selection bar action turns dictionary words into editable direct-typed Tilok; also convert to script and write-in-northern-Thai actions.
• Jaan v18 · Bug fix: picking a dictionary word at the end of a line no longer lands on a new line (a browser quirk with non-editable spans inserted at a block end).

• Jaan v17 · Live editing by paragraph for boards: who is here, others' changes within seconds, paragraph locks, tiny "no change" replies, fallback to the simple flow when crowded. See Live editing.
• Jaan v16 · Mode toggle bug: after switching from Tilok back to Thai/English, typing no longer comes out in the Lanna font (leaving a mode steps the caret out of the run).
• Jaan Follow-ups to versions: the creation is always kept as its own "original" version; members keep their full account name in history; admin switches for the fruit nicknames; test accounts are excluded from counts.
• Jaan Pabsa on the server: saved documents with history and restore, visitor names with Lanna fruit nicknames, autosave, conflict handling, "my boards", save to the site. All 28 nicknames were approved by the site owner.
• Jaan v15 · Copy and paste keep each language: Thai, English, direct Tilok and dictionary words survive copy, cut and paste via a private clipboard flavour; pasted HTML is sanitised.
